Bush Food Forager is now permanently closed.
Substack has decided that, despite publicly stating “credit card payments count as verification,” I now need to take a photo of my face and send it to them to age verify.
Substack can get stuffed. I’m taking my money with me too by cancelling all my existing subscriptions.
And yes, I already bypassed Substack's tech prison to post this message.
As a consequence, there will be no further posts on Bush Food Forager. Ever.

Just for the record, I cannot open any page on Substack, cannot delete my account, cannot cancel paid subscriptions, cannot unsubscribe, cannot open settings, but did figure out that, in the 1 second delay I have before being rerouted to the mandatory verification page, I could open my dashboard and create a new post, which you are now reading.

I heard AU has an age verification law and it appears SubStack is complying.
Don’t know how it has to work for online hosts.
Europe is fining Elon’s X 140 million for supposed non- compliance.
If people can get around the firewall of China, I am sure Australians will find a way too.
Age verification Will come to the U.S. too.
Probably the governments fostered the p0rnO, and gambling, and trafficking online so they would have the excuse to monitor and track everyone.
