Really great presentation. I have been a botany freak my whole life so this was fascinating even though it is far afield from the US. We do have North American counterparts here to some of the plants you showed however. Amazing excursion!

middle unidentified beauty is flower of orchid (Bauhinia) tree (we used to have a big one in the backyard) it has really gorgeous flowers but the tropical tree is deciduous and can be messy…

about 30 years ago took the train ride from Carins into the rainforest, best vacation of my life!
